How to extend your survey

You can extend your survey when it is active or has closed. You might want to do this to boost participation and give participants more time to complete the survey.

To extend your survey (excluding Leadership Effectiveness surveys):

  1. Go to Surveys.
  2. Find the survey you want to extend and select the three dots on the survey card. This will display the menu options.
  3. Select Edit to manage the survey.
  4. Select the Survey Information tab.
  5. Edit the End date to reflect the new date. Then click out of the date box to save your changes.


  6. You will then receive a prompt asking if you'd like to:
    • Extend quietly: Extend the survey and not notify anyone.

      OR

    • Send notifications: Notify all participants who have not completed the survey. (This action will also notify Account Managers and Account Administrators in your organisation that the survey has been extended.)
  7. Choose which option suits your needs and then select Continue.

⚠️ Notifications can only be sent to participants invited to your survey. They can't be sent to participants using a public or kiosk link as their contact information is not stored.

Leadership Effectiveness surveys

You can follow the same process for extending the date on a Leadership Effectiveness survey, with the exception of Step 5.

When you reach Step 5, select the Participants tab instead and extend the date on each feedback group.
