Terms of Use: Survey Images

By uploading or including images in any survey content on the AskYourTeam platform, you (the user) acknowledge and agree to the following: 

1. Rights and Permissions 

You confirm that you hold, or have obtained, all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to upload, use, and distribute any images you include in your surveys. This includes, but is not limited to, the rights to reproduce, display, and share such images, in compliance with all applicable copyright, trademark, privacy, and publicity laws. 

2. Prohibited Content 

You agree not to upload or include any images that: 

• Infringe upon or violate any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights of any third party. 
• Contain material that is obscene, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, abusive, violent, or otherwise unlawful or inappropriate. 
• Include personal or sensitive information about others without their explicit and informed consent. 

3. Indemnity and Liability 

You are solely responsible for any images you upload or use on the platform. AskYourTeam does not review or endorse user-submitted content and is not liable for any claims, disputes, losses, or damages arising from your use of such images. 

If your use of images leads to any legal issue, such as a complaint, dispute, or claim against AskYourTeam, you agree to take full responsibility and cover any related costs, losses, or legal expenses. 

4. Enforcement and Remedial Action 

If AskYourTeam is notified or otherwise becomes aware that you have breached these obligations, AskYourTeam reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to take appropriate action, which may include: 

• Removing or disabling access to the offending content. 
• Suspending or terminating your access to the platform. 
• Cooperating with relevant law enforcement or regulatory authorities. 

• Taking legal action where necessary.

5. Storage and data handling 

Images uploaded as part of surveys are stored in a way that allows anyone with the direct link to view and download them. While these images are not easily found by others, anyone who has the link can access them. They may also be indexed by search engines (e.g. Google) and become discoverable. Please avoid uploading images that contain sensitive or confidential information. 

If privacy is important, consider whether the image needs to be uploaded or if it can be edited to remove private details. Only invite people to the survey you trust and avoid using public link and kiosk features.
