Can I make a survey ongoing?

If you want to collect feedback continuously, we recommend using our dedicated ongoing survey templates, such as:

• Onboarding Week One
• Onboarding Over Time
• Offboarding (Exit)

These templates are designed to stay open and come with special features:

• AI Insights generated by reporting period: Choose how often you want insights delivered (e.g. monthly, quarterly).
• Send out period: Employees are automatically invited based on their start or end dates, so no manual scheduling is required.

You can choose which template to use when you select 'Create survey'.

Using other templates for ongoing surveys

If you create a survey using a Build Your Own template or a standard AskYourTeam template that requires an end date, it won’t technically be ‘always-on’ .

However, you can partially mimic an ongoing survey by:

• setting the end date far into the future.
• extending the date when you receive an email reminder that the survey end date is approaching.
• enabling Ongoing Survey Mode in the survey settings to access the Over Time Report.
